Do you have any reputable third-party references to this company? Magazine articles (cycling mags OK) or anything like that? Because if you don't... Herostratus 08:21, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Because if you don't..."? I'm happy to see that veiled threats are the first thing new contributors to wikipedia receive.

I don't believe I've posted anything that's not verifiable by checking the KOG mailing list archives covering the last 2 years. I'm not aware of any dead-tree articles covering Kogswell -- the major cycling magazines don't typically notice companies that sell only a few hundred units a year.

here is a review of one of Kogswell's hubs. here is one of their dealers, and here is another.

I'm an idiot -- I completely forgot that Bicycle Quarterly did extensive testing on the P/R model. I'll add the volume/issue # to the article.

Sorry. I meant to say "because if you don't, I know a guy in Jersey..." j/k :p I'm just concerned because this article was created before and was deleted as being about a non-notable company per WP:NOTABILITY, and I don't want that to happen again, if it can be helped. Best would be to put the references you describe above into the article. Most of our articles have "External links" sections, check out any one to see the formatting. There is also WP:REF for instructions if you want to put in-line references directly in the article. Happy editing, looking forward to your future contributions, cheers, Herostratus 03:00, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Kogswell Cycles for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Kogswell Cycles, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kogswell Cycles until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Abductive (reasoning) 09:37, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
