[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Jack Scalia has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Hi, I have again reverted your edits on Jack Scalia. Unfortunately what you are doing has removed references and their inline citations, and replaced them with numbers which do not link to any references, as well as paragraphs of information without references. Please have a read of WP:CS on how to cite sources, and WP:RS on what counts as a reliable source. There is no problem updating information, but making such large changes without including references and at the same time removing sources and correctly formatted referenced tags will continue to see editors like me revert your changes. Perhaps start a bit smaller and make changes a little bit at a time, making sure you have correctly formatted references as you go, as this will help others editors work with you (see WP:CON) to improve the article. Alternatively, you could discuss your proposed changes on the article's talk page, and even ask for help there as to how to make the changes in a well-sourced way. Thanks, Melcous (talk) 12:48, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Jytdog (talk) 21:53, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional editing and sourcing

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Ketamine. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.

Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 00:16, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Ketamine shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. 00:16, 25 March 2017 (UTC)

Are you in any way employed or compensated for your editing?

[edit]

The Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require that all editors disclose their "employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which they receive, or expect to receive, compensation":[1]

If this applies to you, please read Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 18:06, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
