I've listed Compressionism for deletion; you might want to check up on it. Melchoir 20:13, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Andrew,

Could you remove most of the external links that you've been adding today. As a rule we only want a few external links on each article (its much better to include the information in the article itself) and those that are there should be directly relevant to the article and provide information that isn't otherwise available.

This doesn't appear to be the case on many of the links you've added today. Take for example this one. For one thing the link doesn't go to a page about Stanley Spencer or his work. If I dig around enough on the MOMA Wales web site, I can see that you have one of his paintings in your collection. But a one line mention on an inventory list is of no benefit to Wikipedia readers, so there really is no point in having that link on the Stanley Spencer page.

It would be acceptable to leave any links where MOMA Wales has the world's largest collection of that particular painter, but the rest should be removed. For more see Wikipedia:External links and Wikipedia:Spam. -- Solipsist 14:38, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
