Proposed deletion of German Trade Office Taipei
[edit]The article German Trade Office Taipei has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No references
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bazj (talk) 10:12, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
- Repackaging your links to websites published by, or on behalf of, the GTO does not count as adding references, not even if you place it under a title of References. Find independent references, and make sure they're not just recycled versions of the GTO's press releases. There are several links to guidance in the Welcome message above, please use them. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, AHK Intern. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article German Trade Office Taipei, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. It took me a while to notice the link between your name, AHK Intern, and the GTO's website name ahk.de. Apologies for being slow in providing this guidance. Bazj (talk) 10:17, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Recreation of deleted article
[edit]You recreated German Trade Office Taipei after it had been deleted following a deletion discussion. I have accordingly deleted it again; such a recreation is grounds for speedy deletion.
You need to ask the deleting administrator, Joe Decker, whether he will restore it to your user space for you to add the new sources you referred to in your edit summary. If he declines to do so, the place to go next is Wikipedia:Deletion review. Simply recreating the article is editing against consensus. Yngvadottir (talk) 16:17, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
Hi, thank you. I only used the same content and inserted new sources, because it seemed that only using primary instead of secondary sources was the reason for deletion last time, so that is why the content is similar.. Do you have further tips/advice/comments?
