Welcome!
[edit]Hello, AGAcitizen, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Category:Highwaymen Kevin Costner, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Highwaymen Kevin Costner

[edit]Hello, I'm Liz. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Liz Read! Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or write things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. We're sorry if this message has discouraged you from editing here, but the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:32, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, AGAcitizen,
- Wikipedia is a global encyclopedia with editors working from all over the world to write articles with verifiable information and content. It is not an appropriate platform for personal sharing about our lives, opinions or beliefs. There are many platforms where this kind of content is welcomed like social media platforms, discussion boards or blogs. But here, we stick to a focus on their work which is improving articles, not on our own lives. I hope you do find an acceptable place to share your values and experiences but Wikipedia is not that place.
- We welcome your work as an editor here when you want to improve articles whether that is finding reliable sources to verify claims in an article or simple copy editing.
- If you have any questions about working on Wikipedia, its purpose or its many policies, please bring them to the Teahouse which is a forum for new editors to share questions they have with more experienced editors whether they are seeking advice, support or just a second opinion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:37, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
