Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to List of Vancouver Whitecaps FC players does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:28, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Widr. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Feng Xiaoting without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Widr (talk) 21:34, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Long Tan (footballer), you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. If you continue to remove the valid transfers to the development club for players such as Tan, and do so without explanation, we can't understand your motives. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:05, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding the Chinese name in the infobox name parameter when it is not to be included. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:14, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously. Your edit history is easy to follow and edits like this are against the documentation at {{Infobox football biography}}. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:29, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Long Tan (footballer), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:31, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2012 Guangzhou Evergrande F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Al Ittihad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Dear AFCShandong I am greatly concerned by the removal of significantly large portions of content from the following pages. Tu Dongxu, Jiangsu Sainty F.C., Guangzhou Evergrande F.C., Mao Jianqing, Ji Mingyi, Zhang Shuai (footballer), Li Tie, Zhou Haibin and Wang Gang (footballer). You seem to be deleting a lot of stats from these pages and have not explained why. If you believe these stats are wrong I can assure you that I have personally referenced most of them or have provided you with an external link where you can find the correct stat for each of these pages.

From the outside your removal of significantly large portions of content from these pages could appear as disruptive editing and I suggest you restore the removed content from these pages or explain why you believe they need to be removed otherwise I would have to issue you with a last warning and you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Orphaned non-free media (File:Guizhou Renhe, logo of Guizhou Renhe, Oct 2012.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Guizhou Renhe, logo of Guizhou Renhe, Oct 2012.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:22, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fu Bo / Alain Perrin China coach v Iraq 5 March 2014

[edit]

Daer AFCShandong I would first like to thank you for your recent edits, particularly within the field of Chinese football, however it seems that you and I are at a disagreement on who managed China during the 5 March 2014 Iraq game. Before the game I too assumed that Fu Bo would manage the team for the last time before Perrin stepped in, however the footage from the game clearly shows that Perrin is sitting in the managers dugout and barking orders at the players as well as making the substitutions, furthermore it seems that the Asian Football Confederation also seem to believe that he was the manager that day as their match summary on their website for that game states Perrin as the Head coach that day.

http://www.the-afc.com/en/afc-asian-cup-schedule-a-results.html?fixtureid=6952&stageid=273&tMode=H&view=ajax&show=matchsummary

Unless you can find another official source to verify otherwise such as the Chinese Football Association or Iraq Football Association can you please change your edit on List of head coaches in the China national football team page where you awarded the game to Fu Bo and revert it to Alain Perrin. Football statistics

[edit]

Hi, many thanks for taking some interest in updating the infobox statistics for footballers. It would be useful if you could set the timestamps for the changes at the same time as you change the appearance/goal figures. There is a field name |pcupdate= or |club-update=, usually at the bottom of the template, that should be changed. The equivalent for international matches is |ntupdate= or |nationalteam-update=. All you have to do is replace the contents of the field with 5 tilde characters, ~~~~~, which when saved will be converted into the date/time of the change. Regards. Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 00:58, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your recent edit here because it removed the {{reflist}} template, which every page needs,; changed the FIFA External link to point to the wrong person (Shuang Wang) ; also removed the {{Commonscat}} template; and was totally unexplained. i.e. no edit summary. You were also reverted before for many of the same changes here. Why did you just do most of the same edits again?

I strongly urge you to use edit summaries. What appears to be sloppy editing make me suspicious of your other edits. Have you deleted necessary templates anywhere else for example? Why did you remove the picture caption? 220 of Borg 08:18, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear AFCShandong I see that you have changed my edit I made on 03:09, 16 June 2015‎ where I altered the page layout. Hello, I just seen that you edit the international result of Guangzhou Evergrande. I respect your contribution. However, according to the rule of AFC, the Round of 16 of 2012 AFC Champions League, only the winner of each group can host the match. So Guangzhou Evergrande won Tokyo FC by 1-0 only in Guangzhou, not in Tokyo. Please notice the first row of the table, "Home", which means this match is held in a home venue. If you combined the two columns, which means that the match was held in a neutral venue, which means the match is not held in Guangzhou or Tokyo, but in another city or country. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Zhang Yuning (footballer, born 1997), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Olympic Sports Center Stadium. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Do you have a reliable source which verifies notability? No appearances in a FPL per Soccerway (he has only played in Segunda División B according to that page). GiantSnowman 17:26, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is a source from Real Madrid's lineup: http://www.realmadrid.com/en/news/2016/08/3-2-castilla-complete-a-remarkable-turnaround-in-the-last-minute?pid=1383856303433. He was substituted on in the 90th minute and also provided the game-winning assist for Sergio Diaz. AFCShandong (talk) 19:01, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Robby.is.on: This user always deletes the IPA I had added without any explanation, which made me a little angry. I have told him many times but he never responds. Could you help to do something? Thanks! LoveVanPersie (talk) 11:55, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Sro23 (talk) 02:45, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove all the IPA transcriptions I added?

[edit]

It's convenient for foreign readers. So what were you doing? @AFCShandong: LoveVanPersie (talk) 07:47, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yan Junling

[edit]

In his Career statistics I have removed the subheading Club statistics and International statistics to Club and International. This is to comply with Wikipedia:WikiProject Football. Using Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players as a template and the Thierry Henry player page as a gold star example, both pages clearly use the subheading Club and International over Club statistics and International statistics.

International goals are to be placed under Career statistics. This is to comply with Wikipedia:WikiProject Football. Using Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players as a template and the Thierry Henry player page as a gold star example.

Also he is right footed. Here are examples. https://uk.soccerway.com/players/yu-hanchao/28590/ http://www.sodasoccer.com/search/player/49/96857/0AE0EBD32FDD3D01.shtml

Watching these videos you see how he takes set pieces and dribbles with his right foot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDtgqwbzCeo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1pRfcWmrJs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDKrekNe5c4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Yan Dinghao, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Campeonato de Portugal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
