The article Dimbeswar Neog has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- no evidence of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:51, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Pratidin Newspaper on Xuwoni Tora.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 03:51, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Can someone help me with page Dimbeswar Neog? Don't wish the page to be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ADB Alberta (talk • contribs) 04:59, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- Now that the copyright violations have been cleaned out, the page is not currently threatened with deletion. There are still a number of things you should be trying to do with the page, however, to make it into a full-fledged WP article. Among these are:
- add a short statment to the intro saying what the writer is most noted for
- remove external links from the body of the article
- trim the long lists under "Selected works" to a more reasonable size
- watch for laudatory words that don't belong in neutral encyclopedic writing
- to the extent possible, provide an in-line citation for every single fact stated about Neog, referenced to suitable sources
- The biggest problem the article has is that much of what is written is not shown to be coming from a published source. In some cases, this is an indication that you've copied or plagiarized some document that we are simply not clever enough to have spotted. In some cases, it means that the contributor has a close connection with the subject and is writing out of their own knowledge rather than from published, verifiable sources. In some cases, it means that everything you've written has to be thrown out - for lack of referencing - and a much shorter article has to be constructed by summarizing what suitable references have to say. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:23, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
