[edit]Hello, I'm Smalljim. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of cryptids, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —SMALLJIM 12:29, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Emotionalllama. I noticed that you made a comment on the page List of cryptids that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Emotionalllama (talk) 12:36, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of cryptids. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Emotionalllama (talk) 12:41, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at List of cryptids. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Emotionalllama (talk) 12:47, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
Trunko and The Rake
[edit]Smallijim, thank you.
Unfortunately, The Rake creature is a perfect cryptic that scientists cover up to avoid panic, and the Trunko was proved NOT to be a whale
Would you please consider adding the Pukehina Predator to the list?
Thank you
In reply to your message on my talk page (copied above), the article Trunko contains a perfectly rational explanation for that "creature", and The Rake (cryptid) has since 2013 been a redirect to List of internet phenomena. You shouldn't include your own opinions in our articles – we only include information that has been published in reliable sources. (Please continue any discussion on this page) —SMALLJIM 12:59, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
