Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, AArcher1998, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Copy and pasting

[edit]

Please be aware that if you're going to copy content from your sandbox into an article you need to A) copy the content from the edit page, so that you are bringing all the "wikimarkup" across too (otherwise you end up with this [1]), B) provide proper attribution as per Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and C) reference properly as per WP:REF, not just putting "[1]"'s in an article--Jac16888 Talk 16:02, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
