Huh - if you are that bored....:)

[edit]

The zombie that hit mine. Another one hit after that & it relates to the recent history here and here. I'd imagine from past performance these may be open/compromised. If not, no matter because I'm looking at plan B at present! Cheers --Herby talk thyme 17:08, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've got to log off now or I'd help. If you get the chance, can you block the other IPs for 5 years, tag them with {{Zombie proxy}} and report them at WP:OP? Clearly they're either open proxies or zombie PCs given the fact that the two attacking you almost simultaneously were in both North America and Sweden. --A. B. Where do YOU get off?

[edit]

One of User:A. B.'s devotees once said, "It's perfectly safe to drink and drive." Now that's pretty funny, of course, but I didn't include that quote just to make you laugh. I included it to convince you that User:A. B. says that lamebrained junkies have dramatically lower incidences of cancer, heart attacks, heart disease, and many other illnesses than the rest of us. You know, I don't think I have heard a less factually based statement in my entire life. Lest you think that I'm talking out of my hat here, I should point out that a deep, ineradicable hatred of everything that is not perfidious energizes him to capitalize on our needs and vulnerabilities. That's just a fancy way of saying that I want to give people more information about User:A. B., help them digest and assimilate and understand that information, and help them draw responsible conclusions from it. Here's one conclusion I undeniably hope people draw: User:A. B. is completely gung-ho about corporatism because he lacks more pressing soapbox issues. --172.129.111.97 (talk) 15:32, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what you're talking about. --98.201.148.139 (talk) 00:30, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Info....

[edit]

Hello A.B. My name is Brendan and I am an MBA student at Boston College. I am currently taking a course in information technology where we discuss social networks, wikis and other aspects of Web 2.0. I am hoping that you could take a few minutes to provide some information that will help me with a paper that I plan to write regarding Wikipedia and how it is able to run so efficiently with a small staff and limited budget. I find it very intriguing that so many people, like yourself, are willing to contribute their time and effort to a site like this free of charge. It amazing that this site is all user driven and that the hard work of a few benefits so many. I would be very grateful if you would tell me a little about yourself, what subject matters you contribute to and why you are willing to donate your time to this cause. Thank you very much for your time. I really appreciate it.

It's a hobby. Mostly I perform administrative tasks associated with cleaning up linkspam folks add to our articles to drive traffic to their sites.
You can find a bit more about my activities by looking at User:A. B.#More Stuff and Special:Contributions/A. B.
You may also want to look at the Wikipedia in academic studies page.
Good luck with your project -- I hope this helps.
