Help Me

{{helpme}}: I want to edit the plot summary for Disturbia (2007 film). Is it okay for me to put these 2 paragraphs in the plot summary for Disturbia (2007 film)? If I put these 2 paragraphs in the plot summary, then are these 2 paragraphs unconstructive? If I put these 2 paragraphs in the plot summary, then is someone going to delete these 2 paragraphs?

The 2 paragraphs are: Kale (Shia LaBeouf) and his father are on a fishing trip. When their fishing trip's over, they decide to go back to their house. Kale and his father get into a car accident, which leads to the death of Kale’s father.

One year later, Kale and his classmates are inside Mr. Gutierrez’s classroom. Mr. Gutierrez’s a Spanish Teacher. Kale attacks Mr. Gutierrez because the Spanish Teacher asked, “What would your father think?” Mr. Gutierrez is mad at Kale because Kale attacked him. The sympathetic judge sentences Kale to three months of house arrest. Kale’s secured with an ankle monitor and a proximity sensor which prohibits him from leaving a 100 foot radius of his house. One of Mr. Gutierrez’s cousins is Officer Gutierrez. Officer Gutierrez is also mad at Kale because Kale assaulted Mr. Gutierrez. (99.95.168.126 (talk) 20:38, 16 April 2011 (UTC)).

I'm sorry that your request for help was not answered for several hours.

There were some problems with this edit to Disturbia (film) - I think you accidentally copied the text "The 2 paragraphs are: " into the page, and also you'd removed the link to [[Shia LaBeouf]].

That's fine - no problem with making mistakes - but, that is why it was 'reverted' (removed).

On Wikipedia, we have a general principle that we call "BRD" - Bold, Revert, Discuss.

That means, we encourage editors to make bold changes, but if anyone disagrees with a change (and 'reverts' it), we ask them to then discuss things on the talk page of the article.

Therefore, I have copied your comments (above) to the article talk page - as you will see in Talk:Disturbia (film)#Suggested new paragraphs for plot.

I also alerted the editor who reverted it, asking them to give their opinion on your suggestion - so please wait a few days, and see what response is forthcoming.
