If would be useful for you to read this policy. Beyond My Ken (talk) 21:14, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- It's not about retaliation, it's about consistency. Based upon your logic, those things should also be removed, as there is no official source for them. Also, I don't know who appointed you the king of the article. Is there are a third party I can discuss this with?
- Baloney. You deliberately disrupted the article to make a point. I assume you did that because you have not come up with a citation from a reliable source to support your contention that Greenburgh borders on Bergen County. As I told you on my talk page, I would immediately withdraw my objection if you did, so the solution to the dispute is extremely simple: don't muck around with the article, go find that source. Beyond My Ken (talk) 21:21, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- Not simply to prove a point, but to apply your logic. I loathe hypocrisy. Being dismissive or using expletives won't change the fact you're being a hypocrite. Telling me it's "baloney," your POV, won't change that. You have no sources for Greenburgh bordering those other places, but you include them. I'll have to seek a third party. Why must I provide YOU with a source, but you don't have to practice what you preach a provide a source for the other places the town border? Explain yourself.
- Look again, the other borders are sourced to Greenburgh's own GIS map. Beyond My Ken (talk) 21:31, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- To help you out, I've duplicated the source which appeared after the "Hudson River" sentence, which applied to the two sentences before it, so that both sentences are clearly and obviously sourced to the GIS map. Now, stop arguing and go find the source you need. Beyond My Ken (talk) 21:35, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- It's good that it's now sourced in the article so at least there's some consistency. However, Orangetown is not labeled on this map, therefore is unsourced and should be removed as well. Then again, the map clearly shows both Rockland and Bergen counties, even though they're not labeled. And to further that, it seems the map is only showing Greenburgh to other towns and villages in Westchester County. That doesn't mean Greenburgh doesn't border other counties.
- Get a citation from a reliable source. Beyond My Ken (talk) 21:44, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- OK, but in the meantime, Orangetown across the Tappan Zee should be removed. It's funny because I'm the one who added that. But in keeping with consistency, it should be removed from the article. Still, as this map is only labeling other Westchester County towns, it makes it a poor source for citing towns Greenburgh borders because it excludes non-Westchester towns. Though they're not labeled, Greenburgh borders them nonetheless.
- It's sourced. Go find a citation for your claim. Beyond My Ken (talk) 01:37, 22 January 2013 (UTC)

Please do not add false dates to responses. You saw the outdent and assumed the comment was recent when it had been posted in December before you had properly sourced Orangetown. I guess you missed it then, saw the new outdent, and assumed the whole post must be recent. It was not, and it was inappropriate of you to misdate my December comments as having been from Jan 22.
As for Greenburgh, I had forgotten about it, but I'll try to find a source, or possibly discuss it with a third party.
- Sorry about messing up the page, you were correct in your deduction. Please remember to sign your posts, even on your own talk page.
If you consult a third party, please be certain to point out to them that you have been unable to find a source to support your contention. Beyond My Ken (talk) 08:23, 22 January 2013 (UTC)

Plymouth
[edit]I agree with you about Plymouth. It should be specified in the article, and I may edit it to clarify. 69.244.114.231 (talk) 08:46, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
- I second that. 73.194.85.220 (talk) 10:54, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
