Ancestry.com

[edit]

Hi there! I reverted a change you made concerning Alexander Shulgin that used ancestry.com as a source. I agree that there is user-generated content on ancestry.com, but ancestry.com also includes access to databases such as the California Birth Index and Census data. It looks to me that the California Birth Index is not downloadable in full by individuals. Various websites have the database and allow searches, see https://californiabirthindex.org/. The Census data is available elsewhere, though searching sites like the Census data at archive.org is much more time consuming. If you disagree with this, please follow up at Talk:Alexander Shulgin. BTW — It seems like you have a lot of energy and are making a number of edits. I encourage you to create an account! Cxbrx (talk) 11:40, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
