Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Orson Welles, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. In the lead sentence, we list that for which he is primarily noted. Please see MOS:LEADSENTENCE. Peaceray (talk) 04:59, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Orson Welles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. See Talk:Orson Welles#Orson Welles Sources Remain, With Content Removed. I reverted your edit as per WP:UNDUE & MOS:BIOFIRSTSENTENCE. Yes, I did read the sources. Peaceray (talk) 18:39, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
