[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (96.8.24.95) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! --đŚDrWho42 (đ ) 01:21, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
Please join me in continuing our discussion on the Talk:Quid_pro_quo page. I politely disagree with one of your recent edits, and I would like to form consensus with you. Timmccloud (talk) 16:06, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid have been removed because you cited the information you added to IMDb. As discussed at WP:RS/IMDb, IMDb is considered a questionable source, and generally should not be used as a sole reference. You are welcome to re-add the information using a different reliable source, or with an additional source confirming the information from IMDb. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 18:19, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there. You may want to take a look at Etta Place, where the same source is cited regarding the same movie, as mentioned in the original edit summary. â151.132.206.250 (talk) 16:35, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- No need to message me both here and at my Talk page, but I appreciate your diligence. As I said at my Talk page, I've removed the IMDb citation from Etta Place, as IMDb is neither a reliable source nor one that satisfies WP:IPCV. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 17:22, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Didnât think youâd be monitoring my talkpage (same user here at two different locations, in case that wasnât clear). But yeah, you removed the other of two IMDB citations there, but like I said, I went ahead and removed the one discussed here. I was unfamiliar with IPCV, but seeing that kind of barely substantiated trivia in articles has always bothered me, and I love that we have that essay to point to. Cheers back at you! â96.8.24.95 (talk) 00:29, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I was very happy when the underlying RfC concluded as it did and gave us a clear consensus to point to regarding the need for IPC items to be backed up by sources that actually discuss them to some degree. DonIago (talk) 01:32, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
