[edit]Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I noticed that in this edit to The Book of Mormon Movie, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ----Rdp060707|Let's discuss about the plans 06:50, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Book of Mormon. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Kb03 (talk) 13:33, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Outline of Bible-related topics, you may be blocked from editing. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, 93.193.170.30. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page List of films of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Judging by your edits I'm going to assume that you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which means you have a conflict of interest regarding pages related to the Church. Plan of Salvation images in other languages
[edit]I started a discussion on LDS in Mexico and LDS in Brazil concerning why the different language "Plan of Salvation" are being placed on the pages. Thank you for your contributions, but I'm not sure non-english "plan of salvation" diagrams should be placed on country-specific pages in the English language. If possible, I would like your input on why it's placed in these pages and your recommendations. Thanks. -Dmm1169 (talk) 18:52, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
- I used the discussion page in hopes what others thoughts were on the topic. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, but cannot find justification of having "Plan of Salvation" images on any language on LDS in... pages. I could have deleted it immediately for not being on topic, but wanted to see what others thoughts were before removing it. These diagrams would be great when done within topic and on a similar language page. See Wikipedia:Relevance of content for more guidance on this. By definition, "C-class" pages may contain some irrelevant material, but not for pages achieving "good article standards".
- I could not find guidance on content in a different language on an English-speaking page, but know items displayed in a different language on an English-speaking page is very few and far between. The little I did find was on pages describing other languages (on topic). I can see the Church logo (with conditions) of the being placed on the page because it's the icon of the church in that country (on church buildings, official material, etc.), and is now part of the infobox. It's a greater stretch to justify the Book of Mormon cover image in a different language.
- Unless there is credible reason why it should be placed in country specific pages, these images will need to be removed in order to achieve Wikipedia's good quality standards.Dmm1169 (talk) 23:55, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

List of wards/branches
[edit]Thank you for your edits with adding wards/branches to Scotland. I've seen lists removed from other like-pages and made some edits in hopes to reduce chance of deletion. I made a comment on the talk page of re-adding the list under certain guidelines. So far no-one has objected to it, so the content is staying under the following guidelines:
- Wards/Branches are grouped by stake/district. Of course the exception are branches not in a stake/district, or if its a congregation part of stake in another country (of course the stake name can still be listed).
- Must be dated. This can be done by in line text, reference, or both. Wards/branches (even stakes, missions) are regularly added/removed. Its a snapshot of what exist in the present, and not the future (when most will read it). Change of interest, busy, illness, death, etc. can mean someone with current intentions to keep it updated ends up failing to do so. I've removed content on some pages because it was outdated and irrelevant.
- Must be of or under a reasonable size list. The page as a whole is not a list (even though it will have lists within it). LDS membership statistics is considered to be a page categorized as "list". I had originally stated not for more than 20 or 30 in the conversation, but this seems ok even though it has more.
This being said, someone can go back behind me objects and delete this content (which can happen with justifiable reason). In the meantime, feel free to add content that meets this criteria. Be Bold! -Dmm1169 (talk) 00:26, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
