Biogas

[edit]

Wikipedia:Tendentious editing#Righting great wrongs. I know their is a lot of opposition against the biogas installation but Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a forum for activism. The Banner talk 16:39, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please stop with your claims of regional rivalry? That has nothing to do with my edits here. And Wikipedia is not a place for activism. The Banner talk 18:57, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

December 2022

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:10, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Gort) for a period of 2 weeks for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 02:07, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Biogas again

[edit]

I guess the controversy is to the fore again that you are back with some POV-pushing. But it is the same behaviour that got you partial blocked earlier. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a forum for activism. So do me a favour and stop with this activism. The Banner talk 01:30, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting choice of words... why is this a favour to you? Are you involved in the issue? Your disruptive edits are the activism here. Activism is not using recognised sources to paint a full picture of an historical event.

The article is now protected, as you probably have noticed already. I have no doubt that an administrator (I am not an administrator!) will be willing to block you again for tendentious and/or disruptive editing. The Banner talk 17:16, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
