Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions to 2023 and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:
Alternatively, the contributing to Wikipedia page covers the same topics.

Block appeal
[edit]92.23.61.7 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
The block came completely out of the blue, there was no vandalism or deliberate attempts to damage any article. Furthermore, the reason for the block cites block evasion. Where is the evidence that any accounts used by this IP are connected?
Decline reason:
My use of the checkuser tool confirms the block evasion. PhilKnight (talk) 19:35, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

92.23.61.7 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I'm not disputing that you have confirmation, what I want to know is where is the evidence that led to the administrator in question making the decision in question to confirm the block. Where is the evidence that accounts on this IP are being used inappropriately? Why was the decision to block made? As far as I know, this IP address mainly edits football related articles with factual edits with added sources, so I do not see what harm that causes, so I request that this IP be unblocked, whatever reasoning to this block I am not 100% sure, but if for whatever reason it made an error at one point, then I apologise, and will be more vigilant in future should editing privileges be restored. Thank you.
Decline reason:
While the block on your registered account is in place you cannot edit via any account or IP. The moment you edit Wikipedia in violation of the block on your account your edits become de facto disruptive regardless of the content of your edits. If you would ever like to edit here again, the standard offer is your only path forward. Ponyobons mots 21:21, 27 June 2023 (UTC)

decline=This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate and confirm that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:
- Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
- Reading our guide to improving articles.
- Picking any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
- If you have trouble choosing an article to improve, see this index of articles needing improvement for ideas.
Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:
- Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
- Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
- do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this:
...
), - do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this:

), - do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:

), - and do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:
Foo stub
);
- do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this:
- Click edit at your talk page and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this:
Article title
) the copied content but do not save yet; - Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "
Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution.
" - You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include any citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose:
reflist-talk
. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
- Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
- When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking using unblock and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
- If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will hopefully improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.
If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~
" to your talk page. Thank you.== AFC Bournemouth#Current squad

Request reason:
2nd chance attempt above, I apologise if it has not followed the official procedure, but I got confused by instructions on template page, so if you could please see above and determine if the 2nd chance meets criteria to unblock, I would be grateful.
Decline reason:
The 2nd chance process is not relevant, and was not offered to you here. No request from you will be considered before you go six months with no edits under any account or IP, at which time you should return to your original account to request unblock. If you have no interest in that, there is nothing more to do here. The more you evade your block, the harder it will be to be unblocked. 331dot (talk) 15:14, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I have just looked at the IP address on my phone and my WiFi router, and the IP address blocked on here and the one I am connected to at home right now do not match. Either Wikipedia displays IP addresses differently, or something is wrong. 92.23.61.7 (talk) 16:55, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Not an unblock request. Further abuse of the template will result in your access to this page being removed. 331dot (talk) 17:00, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

This is beside the point, and not our problem(but yes, your home network IP will be different from the one you actually use to connect to the internet). As I said, you may not edit under any account or IP until the original block is removed. 331dot (talk) 17:00, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
