[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at St Columba's College, St Albans, you may be blocked from editing. We cite a source in the infobox for the spelling of the founder's name. We should we believe your unsourced change over the spelling used by the school itself? Meters (talk) 18:29, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hi there, thanks for your feedback. Apologies if my edits have caused any inconvenience. I am the Director of Comms at St Columba's College and updated the listing as it did not appear to have been updated for some time. The correct spelling of the founder's name is O'Neill, but there are some inconsistencies across our own historic materials, which means that it has also been sometimes incorrectly spelled as O'Neil. I'll see if I can find an acceptable source to back up what i'm saying and will then resubmit. 90.215.178.185 (talk) 05:56, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, 90.215.178.185. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page St Columba's College, St Albans , you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);

- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Since you state that you are "the Director of Comms at St Columba's College" you clearly have a conflict of interest in editing this article. Please post your suggested changes on the article's talk page rather than making them yourself. Meters (talk) 06:18, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
