Your , so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register). Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.
Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |

I've responded on your talk page. Nothing in that edit could be taken as vandalism, on the contrary it is insists on using only verified information in a biography on Wikipedia - and REMOVING unverified information. On those grounds, I've redone that edit. In addition, I've responded on your talk page about this. Your behaviour is a totally inappropriate and unjustified attempt at bullying using a completely specious reason. I suggest you try to get this IP banned officially on the basis of those edits.. in other words, I am calling your bluff. I am happy to let the facts of that edit speak for itself in front of any audience. Are you?
-You can use the talk page to discuss with other experienced editors about a ref, removing a ref is a unconstructive way of editing wikipedia. Spada II ♪♫ (talk) 18:16, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- No it isn't and you should familiarise yourself with how wikipedia works. Note - you still haven't added a reference to support the claim and I have removed it. Note - someone from IOHKwriter (his company) has provided a possible reference below in a more collaborative way that you can muster. This is a biography mate... you are supposed to make an effort.
Hoskinson mathematician
[edit]Yes, you're right. The page should only use referenced information from accepted valid sources. Hoskinson studied maths and is usually referred to as a mathematician. This is one reference:
Blockchain believers hold fast to a utopian vision Financial Times (FT.Com), 11:32, 27 January 2017
'A mathematician, Mr Hoskinson believes blockchain has the potential to reduce society’s need for banks....'
There are many other sources, such as PBS NewsHour, the New Yorker, The National Post, other FT stories, etc, but one should be enough.
