Your recent editing history at 2020–21 snooker season‎ shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. wjematherplease leave a message... 18:33, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

this is not a suitable edit summary. The MOS for flags at MOS:FLAG is quite clear, we should be using flagathlete for the first time a flag is denoted on a page. For consistency this is used across all items generally. It not being used on golf articles is beyond the point as you should read WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Lee it is not used in Golf, Darts and Tennis and other sports for the winner and runner-up so why is it used only in Snooker ?.Those other sports only show the flag once so why is flagathlete not used in them sports ?. Flagathlete looks horrendous 89.204.235.36 (talk) 19:25, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is not consistently used on any other sport carrying the flag of the winner and the runner-up especially all the ones that I have mentioned above so that is absolute nonsense 89.204.235.36 (talk) 19:34, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Just because it is wrong on other articles doesn't make it suitable to change against the MOS on this article. Please read the links that I have highlighted above for other stuff exists. Something being "nonsense" is irrelevant, you need to respect consensus and follow the MOS. If you think this is wrong, feel free to get a consensus for this to be changed at MOS:FLAG. Can I please remind you that you need to not log out and use a different IP address DooksFoley147? You have been warned beyond many times. You have been explained this constantly. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 23:24, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lee listen I don't dedicate my life to Wikipedia, if I need to make an edit to add a final score of a Snooker match, darts match, tennis match etc I go to the page and edit the result I don't even think to log in half the time it's not out of badness. I have other stuff going on in my life, I have other stuff to do. I do what I gotta do and move on 92.251.219.191 (talk) 23:37, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
