Your most recent edits

[edit]

Hey, can you discuss your most recent edits on Rebecca Latimer Felton here? It appears as though you're editing based on emotion, in that you believe the racially motivated lynching of Sam Hose was justified. So you are removing information backed up by reliable sources that implies otherwise. If you want to provide a source that does suggest (Or prove) he's actually guilty of the rape rumor attributed to him feel free to but you can't keep reverting the page to the way you want it to be.

Again, please send your replies to that thread. I tried to ping your IP but it didn't work for some reason. 2603:8080:F600:27A2:6C94:8FC0:CC79:265A (talk) 19:43, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ANEW notice

[edit]

Hello, I was told I need to notify whoever I report for edit warring. I attempted to resolve the dispute multiple times but you are edit warring with 2 other users besides me. I apologize if I fail to properly ping you or anything, I couldn't find a copy-paste of the required template. I'll patch this in with a link to the report shortly.

Here {https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Edit_warring#[[User:]]_reported_by_User:2603:8080:F600:27A2:6C94:8FC0:CC79:265A_(Result:_) } Paste the link between the squiggles {} into your browser, link template refuses to work.

Your recent editing history at Rebecca Latimer Felton shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —C.Fred (talk) 20:31, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
