Adding sources to the lead

[edit]

Hi, I noticed at Sexual selection and related articles that you are adding sources to existing cited materials, which is at once unnecessary and potentially misleading; and in the case of the lead (summary) section, actually wrong, as the lead is already a summary of cited materials in the article body, so it is not a suitable place to add anything. I do hope this is clear; please don't do it again. Many thanks, Chiswick Chap (talk) 18:31, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
