The last edit wasn't unsourced..... 82.27.242.159 (talk) 10:43, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was - and you need to bear in mind that international goal tables are in violation of consensus at WP:FOOTY. GiantSnowman 10:50, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for adding an actual source - however I have again removed the goals table as it violates consensus at WP:FOOTY, as well as WP:NOTSTATS. Regards, GiantSnowman 11:00, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I far as I can tell there isn't anything preventing the goal table, and anyway almost every other page on an association football player has one 82.27.242.159 (talk) 11:05, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There have been multiple discussions at WT:FOOTY saying that international goals tables were overkill; and other articles being wrong is no excuse for this being wrong. Please do not re-add the table. GiantSnowman 11:07, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The closest I can find is having the discussion on match played as of, there is nothing about goal tables, and the rules about other stuff exists, how can it be fine for something that is banned to be on a page if it was there before but the banned thing cannot be done, its like saying people can drink alcohol who are under 18 as long as they were doing it before the law was introduced 82.27.242.159 (talk) 11:20, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The many discussions can be found in the archives; and a change to our style/layout etc. on articles applies to all articles, regardless of when they were created/edited etc. GiantSnowman 11:31, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
