[edit]Hello, I'm Lugia2453. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Lugia2453 (talk) 22:47, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Legoktm (talk) 22:52, 9 June 2013 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit]Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Kalki.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 04:15, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please reconsider
[edit]Along with thousands of related IPs, I am blocked for almost a year. From the timing, it appears to be related to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MariaJaydHicky. If so, it plainly hasn’t worked to stop unwanted edits at Tulisa (I’ve never heard if her, and couldn’t care less how her music is categorised) but there is a fair amount of collateral damage, as the trail of complaints by different IP editors in this blocked range shows.
Please, Drmies can you reconsider the cost/benefit calculation. I can see the cost to unrelated third parties. What is the benefit? 82.132.228.10 (talk) 08:48, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, sometimes abusive users make such actions necessary. If you have an account, you can use it regardless of your location or IP address. Most IP blocks, including this one, allow edits with accounts. I know this won't make you feel better, but what you're experiencing is common to me as well: half my state, it seems, is covered by a similar block necessitated by vandalism. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
