Your contributed article, Paraguayan people

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Paraguayan people. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Paraguay. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Paraguay - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. jsfouche ☽☾Talk 04:55, 18 July 2011 (UTC) --  Read

As noted above, there are two articles covering your new article Paraguayan people : Paraguay as well as Demographics of Paraguay. CanadianLinuxUser (talk) 12:43, 22 July 2011 (UTC) --  Read
Ok, I think redirecting the page is better than deleting it. -- 7D HMS (talk) 02:31, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Copy and pasting

Could we get you to stop copy and pasting "is a multiethnic society, which means that it is home to people of many different ethnic backgrounds. Therefore, people in ??? usually treat their nationality as a citizenship rather than an ethnicity" All over Wikipedia without any references. Thank you .Moxy (talk) 17:36, 24 July 2011 (UTC) --  Read

Thank you. Take the term "Argentine people" as an example. This term can only be used to describe a citizenship because Argentine people do not form a particular ethnic group. In fact, the Argentine population is made up of people from different ethnic backgrounds. This is the reason why I say that Argentina is a multiethnic society, and that the local people usually treat their nationality (i.e. Argentine) as a citizenship rather than an ethnicity. -- 7D HMS (talk) 02:42, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Pls see Wikipedia:Verifiability - The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. You have added this statement to many articles without a source (if one can be found for Argentina by all means at it back - as the burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material). However in some cases its blatantly obvious that its the complete opposite of what is verifiable in the articles themselves . For instance in the Canadians article the term "Canadians" in the most self identified ethnic group in the county. So saying that they "usually treat their nationality as a citizenship rather than an ethnicity" is completely wrong. So unless you have a source to back up what looks like original researcher would be best not to add this back whole sale to many article because you believe its the "truth".Moxy (talk) 03:02, 25 July 2011 (UTC) --  Read
Ok, thank you. I shall browse through some books and find relevant sources to back up my edits. By the way, would you mind posting a welcoming template on my talk page? -- 7D HMS (talk) 03:05, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
If your looking for help type links See Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/Help that is a sub page of Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America that I think would be of interest to you. Moxy (talk) 03:10, 25 July 2011 (UTC) --  Read

Personal sand box

Not sure if you know but you can make yourself a personal sand box -->

If you have a username, you can create your own sandbox in your userspace. You can find your user sandbox here. (And if it doesn't exist yet, feel free to create it!) For future easy access, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your userpage. 7D HMS/sandbox.Moxy (talk) 03:37, 26 July 2011 (UTC) --  Read

Hi, 7D HMS

Hi. I am just curious what your name means. Cheers, Jason Quinn (talk) 16:06, 3 August 2011 (UTC) --  Read

Hello, nice to meet you! Well, actually my username does not have any meaning at all. "7D" is my apartment, and "HMS" stands for "His Majesty's Ship" (because I found this name quite cool). -- 7D HMS (talk) 03:37, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
