[edit]Hi 78.199.138.115! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Battleship Potemkin several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Battleship Potemkin, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Raydann (talk) 21:21, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

- I corrected the misspelled city Kyiv. The main spelling for Kyiv on Wikipedia is "Kyiv" which is the Ukrainian spelling of Kyiv, a Ukrainian city.
- This website seems to have a problem with pro-Russian users imposing Russian spellings on Ukrainian cities despite Wikipedia's own standard spelling having changed. 78.199.138.115 (talk) 21:49, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- This is not a "misspelling". Also, see WP:KIEV because it is the consensus to use "Kiev" here. Calling users "pro-Russian" because of this can be considered a WP:PA. Mellk (talk) 23:41, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
