The main Wikipedia page on me is correct.
However, Bing.com provides a summary on me (attributed to Wikipedia) that includes a photo of an author who is not me. (He's probably another Mark Halliday?) Also, a book cover is shown, of a book that I did not write, entitled The Walk-in.

Thanks for any help on this.
- Hello Mark! I'm sorry that you've run into some trouble with your Bing profile. Unfortunately, there is nothing that Wikipedia can do to alter Bing's summaries. As you correctly guessed, Bing, Google, and other search engines will compile search results of an author's picture, books, and biographical information based on the name inputted—and apparently their algorithms are not good enough to distinguish between different individuals with the same name. You might be able to contact Bing using this form: Report a Concern to Bing. Best of luck, Altamel (talk) 20:14, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
