[edit]WP:Edit requests - "Requests should be accompanied by a clear and specific description of the requested change, and consensus should be obtained before requesting changes that are likely to be controversial."
When somebody goes out of their way to give you a convenient link to the policy or guideline justifying their revert, the least you can do is read the first few sentences of it. ―Mandruss ☎ 11:35, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
- I read the policy. You are factually incorrect in reverting the edit request back to a talk comment. There are 4 edit requests on the page. They look exactly like mine. 75.162.84.50 (talk) 11:36, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
- No, they don't look like yours. Some are specific as to the requested change (exact language requested, and where it should be added), and others that are not were rejected for that reason. None had two levels of headings, and all used the edit request template per the page I linked for you. Throwing around fancy phrases like "factually incorrect" doesn't make you factually correct. ―Mandruss ☎ 11:43, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
- Mine is specific to the requested change. The requested change is that the exact words I typed be added to the exact heading I typed. Just because you didn't understand it doesn't make it in violation of policy. 75.162.84.50 (talk) 11:45, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
