Facebook and other social media are not reliable sources. The blog "Saving Country Music" is not, either, as it is a self-published blog run by one person with no editorial authority. Per our policies on biographies, facts about someone's life or death must be backed up by reputable, third-party sources. If someone is able to find a newspaper obituary, or a reputable news or web site (Rolling Stone, Taste of Country, Billboard, etc.), then that would be an acceptable source to verify his death.
