Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
Someone using this IP address, 72.93.206.32, has made edits to Ang Lee that do not conform to our policies and therefore have been reverted. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.
You don't have to log in to read or edit pages on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

Editing controversial topics
[edit]Getting on board at Wikipedia is not easy for anyone, with all the policies and guidelines to be discovered and learned. It takes some time to learn the ropes. As a new user, it's especially difficult and perilous to try to become acquainted with Wikipedia by starting with a controversial topic. The article Holocaust denial is about as controversial as they come. I appreciate the fact that to this point, you've addressed your concerns at the Talk page, and have not made any edits to the article. Nevertheless, the topic is so fraught that after your initial forays at the Talk page, I'd be wary of going too much further with your ideas of adding a section on the arguments that holocaust deniers use. If a section like that is added to the article, it would likely be done by a group of highly experienced editors carefully talking it out first. I'm not an admin and I'm not telling you what to do, but one half of your total edits so far are on controversial topics or their Talk pages. As a new user, you would be well advised to find some less contentious topics, start small, and work your way up over time as you gain more experience. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my Talk page. In addition, you can address questions to the WP:Help desk or WP:Tea house. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 00:10, 13 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm C.Fred. I noticed that you recently removed content from Fish and chips without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —C.Fred (talk) 12:15, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
