Welcome!

Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/HeeheeYogen8, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for block evasion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Nick Moyes (talk) 17:49, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.

Hello IP editor. Further to the block message above, there is strong reason to believe you have been editing from an IP address whilst your registered account is itself blocked. This is completely against our policies and warrants not only a block of this IP address, but also an extension from a one week block to an indefinite block for the original, registered user for WP:SOCKPUPPETRY. My concern has been to get that registered account to look at their talk page and to read the various concerns expressed there, and then to undertake to change their editing behaviour, and to start interacting with other editors when there is a need to explain the rationale for their edits. Until that happens, they will continue to be blocked from editing. If the mobile iOS app prevents them from seeing warnings, block messages and user posts, then they should abandon that way of viewing and editing Wikipedia immediately and to edit their user page (which they are permitted to do whilst blocked) via a normal web browser to avoid this problem happening. Explanation of extended block: Based on editing patterns, I have good reason to believe this IP address, that of User:70.54.66.250 and User:HeeheeYogen8 are connected. IP 70.54.66.250 has continued to edit in the same way since the above block was given, and thus both that address and this address have had their blocks made into 1 month blocks from today's date. If you believe I am wrong in concluding these accounts are connected, you make make an unblock request and I will arrange for a CU to look further into the technical aspect of your editing. Meanwhile, simply respecting the block placed on the original sockmaster is the best way to be permitted to edit once that block expires or an undertaking to communicate and explain your edits more effectively is made.
