Hi there. To answer your feedback question about how many sailors served aboard the Laffey, the total ships compliment was 336. That number includes both officers and enlisted. Of course as combat conditions, transfers, etc. happened the number could fluctuate slightly but 336 is a good "rule of thumb". On nealy all our Wikipedia articles pertaining to military ships you'll find an information box on the right side of the page. Normally among all the other details there like ship length, armament, etc. you'll find a listing for "compliment" that shows the number you requested. Hope that helps now and in the future.
