Information icon Hello, I'm Squeakachu. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Somerset Berkley Regional High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Squeakachu (talk) 20:42, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is based on published reliable sources

[edit]

Hello ...18o, You left this comment on my talk page: "The edits about the teacher at Somerset Berkley Regional High School in Somerset, MA are 100% accurate and truthful and can be verified by contacting the Somerset Police, Dudley Police, or the Superintendent. Removing the verifiable truth is akin to censorship and bad faith." I can understand your feelings about this issue. However the policy of Wikipedia is to base article content on published reliable sources. Contacting the police to obtain information to include in an article is considered original research, which is not allowed. Contacting the police to verify information in an article is something we avoid by requiring published sources. I hope this gives you a fuller understanding of why your preferred content cannot be added. Gab4gab (talk) 21:59, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
