Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:Andy Ngo. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Dr. Swag Lord (talk) 04:18, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is not a personal attack, the editors in question has engaged in questionable behaviour multiple times regarding this page, including trying to cite unreliable sources, discounting reliable sources, and whitewashing subject matter. If I have broken any standard here, it's by assuming bad faith, which is pretty clearly justified given the histories of these two editors. 69.158.90.121 (talk) 04:22, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you are right. What is your main account? I want to discuss this further with you. Dr. Swag Lord (talk) 04:28, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have one because I don't edit Wikipedia enough to make one for myself. Last edit I did iirc was to the Russian Imperial Movement in February. I've been watching Ngo's Wikipedia page because Ngo has been trying to get his followers to edit it, and it's extremely apparent to me that those two in particular have been trying to whitewash the article. The more I look into Springee, the more I see accusations of bias and weird behavior. He's been trying to discredit reliable sources like Bellingcat, and has gone so far as to say the Alex Zilensky of the Portland Mercury is similarly unreliable. This isn't acting in good faith, it's blatantly ideologically motivated editing designed to remove facts about Ngo that damage his credibility as a journalist. 69.158.90.121 (talk) 05:48, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

IP editor, I do hope you will consider creating an account for any future edits and/or talk page contributions. I also hope that you will take a moment to revisit Wikipedia's WP:CIVILITY policy. Please keep in mind that without supporting evidence (in the form of links to reliable sources or editing diffs (- even for talk pages), casting aspersions is to be avoided. That said, the action of an editor blanking the entirety of another editor's talk page stikes me as a gesture that is itself lacking in civility. Kind Regards, Cedar777 (talk) 21:54, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have been nothing but civil. If Springee doesn't appreciate fair criticism over their behaviour, they should stop behaving that way. The evidence is in the talk page I posted to and in complaints on Springee's own talk page. Springee's also taken to citing the "Hunter Biden Laptop" in their arguments as true, which certainly doesn't help their case. 69.158.90.121 (talk) 22:15, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If we were out on the city street, a civil conversation between parties would mean one thing. However, civility has a very specific meaning on Wikipedia. It is worth noting that the Wikipedia site is generally somewhat of a respite from the usual nastiness that one finds on the internet wherever there are many individuals contributing anonymously. This is due, in a large part, to editors observing the stated policy on civility while contributing content to the encyclopedia. NPA means "no personal attacks". It is not a good strategy to edit war with users, on any article page or even on an article's talk page. If it continues, this is only likely to result in your IP address becoming blocked by an administrator.
A better strategy is to keep following the talk page, if you see that the subject (Ngo) is canvasing his followers off-wiki to take a certain action on the page, please alert other editors to this with the appropriate evidence as a linked citation on the talk page. As for concerns about another editor's behavior, there are only a limited number of places where it is OK to address these concerns such as the users talk page and potentially at one of the administrator noticboards if all else fails. In a separate section, I will post the content that was added to my talk page after someone assisted me in creating an official account several years ago; it has been useful to me at times when looking for answers about some of the wikipedia policies and acronyms. Perhaps it might also be useful for you. Cedar777 (talk) 01:12, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article talk pages are for comments about edits and content not editors. If you continue it may be necessary to request a bock due to disruptive behavior. Springee (talk) 23:26, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have repeatedly attempted to edit [Andy Ngo]] against consensus, introduce unreliable sources, denigrate reliable sources, and cite conspiracy theories in arguments on talk pages. You have a history of canvassing, and from your talk page, a history of removing references to information critical of article subjects. I am also not the only one to have accused you of this, on your talk page User:Noteduck has apparently noticed similar behaviour in your edits of Douglas Murray. You very clearly engage in a pattern of behaviour aimed at removing critical sources of people you sympathise with. You also have a history of reverting warnings about your behaviour, including those same canvassing concerns, as well as my own criticism of your behaviour. I cannot imagine that this is at all normal of any user. 69.158.90.121 (talk) 23:51, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have quite a few objections to Springee's editing but this is all a bit weird. I don't understand why you don't use a permanent account and I'm not sure this approach is constructive. If you feel you have a basis for a formal complaint of tendentious editing, POV-pushing etc you are of course welcome to make one Noteduck (talk) 01:17, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Admin here. The article talk page is not the place to discuss editor behavior, attack other editors, and edit war. Please stop. ~Awilley (talk) 03:33, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I apologise for placing my criticism in the wrong spot, but will not apologise for protecting the integrity of the project. There is a clear attempt by a small group of users to whitewash controversial subjects in line with their own political ideology. This has included multiple attempts to establish edits against consensus, and the introduction of conspiracy theories to justify this behaviour. Regardless of my procedural violations, Springee is shamelessly compromising the neutrality of Wikipedia and I strongly urge you to investigate this behaviour yourself. 69.158.90.121 (talk) 00:09, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked your IP again because 100% of your edits over the past 5 days have been dedicated to WP:Hounding Spgringee. ~Awilley (talk) 19:04, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As I have repeated multiple times, my last article edit was to Russian Imperial Movement in February this year. The entire reason I'm not letting my browser's VPN switch to a new IP is because it would otherwise lend the appearance of multiple IP editors. Springee has targeted multiple users that they have conflicts with in AE and spurious and often misleading accusations. If you want knowledgeable contributors for your encyclopedia project, you would do well to stop enabling abusive, POV-pushing users in running off editors. 69.158.90.121 (talk) 20:42, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Here I am citing the blog of Ukrainian conservative and political scientist Anton Shekhovtsov to document an extremely significant relationship that had otherwise been unnoticed by your contributors. The SSNP has been party to the Assad regime's foreign influence operations, which have largely occurred in parallel with Russian operations to influence foreign neo-Nazi and neofascist organisations in democratic states. In the case of the SSNP, these operations extend to left-wing conspiracy theorists like Max Blumenthal. 69.158.90.121 (talk) 20:57, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
