Welcome!
Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your , so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register). Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.
Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address (linked to your contributions page. However, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this (this IP's talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you create an account, you can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to 2017 NBA All-Star Game, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 06:14, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit]Hello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 2016 NFL season, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 03:54, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
- A citation is a reference to reliable, verifiable, neutral source. In this case, it would probably be a newspaper, magazine or credible web site such as ESPN. Follow the links to Wikipedia:Citing sources, Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources, Wikipedia:Verifiability and [[Wikipedia:Footnotes]. As further information, please do not include text which is speculative and not yet definite. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. [edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that some edits performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. They are as follows:
- On the 2016–17 NHL season page, your edit caused a URL error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
- On the 2016 in American television page, your edit caused an unsupported parameter error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check these pages and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:18, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

Editing by unregistered users from your shared IP address or address range may be currently disabled due to abuse. However, you are still able to edit if you sign in with an account. If you are currently blocked from creating an account, and cannot create one elsewhere in the foreseeable future, you may follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account to request that volunteers create your username for you. Please use an email address issued to you by your ISP, school or organization so that we may verify that you are a legitimate user on this network. Please reference this block in the comment section of the form.
Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. We apologize for any inconvenience. —Bagumba (talk) 05:19, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
