- I recommend that you get a username. [edit]Hello, I'm Yahya. I noticed that in this edit to Yugo, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Yahya (✉) • 19:45, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I'm here to talk about your recent edit to the Elks page
Saying things like "Considered by some" goes against our MOS:WEASEL. Please in future if needed bring up sources to show if something is debated, use specific examples rather than adding generalizations.
Thank you! MatthewNewHouse (talk) 21:58, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- I put those words in because to not have them makes the statement sound like it is fact. It is not fact. 67.23.151.159 (talk) 16:33, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
- We have the sources there to say it is. If a term is offensive, it's not up for debate if it is or not. We have multiple sources linked to that sentence specifically to show that it's not debated.
- It is fact.
- If you have reliable source WP:RS that say it is not, then you are free to add them. But please remember that even if only a portion of people are offended by something, that still means it is offensive. Adding "Some find," as said previously, goes against MOS:WEASEL.
- Please remember that other people do find it offensive. Perhaps go through the sources given. MatthewNewHouse (talk) 22:51, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
