Your edits to Chihuahua (dog)
[edit] This is the only warning you will receive.
Your recent vandalism will not be tolerated. Although vandalizing articles on occasions that are days or weeks apart from each other sometimes prevents editors from being blocked, your continued vandalism constitutes a long term pattern of abuse. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Joe Sewell 17:34, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Umm...
[edit]Just so you all know, this is a school computer going through a blocking proxy that serves just about every school in many states, so blocking won't help in this case. Even worse, those of us like me, can't log in because its blocked.
- I could be mistaken, but I think if you create an account and log in, then you will not be blocked from editing when the anonymous IP is blocked. - Davandron | Talk 15:40, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- A slight clarification: there are apparently at least two types of blocks, one in which the IP address is blocked from all edits (including signed in users) and one in which only anonymous edits are blocked. Hopefully vandelism is being performed by anonymous users and the block can be limited to them. SeeWikipedia:Blocking_policy#Options for IP blocks. - Davandron | Talk 15:46, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Washington Irving, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Kafziel Talk 18:35, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. -- Necrothesp 18:17, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Blocked
[edit]Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this address is probably also disabled.
If accounts need to be created at school for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address with your preferred username and an account will be created for you. Please ensure that any username you choose is not listed as taken here.
Thank you. — { Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( Timrollpickering 00:51, 5 February 2018 (UTC) ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( in the enhanced toolbar, or if you use the old "classic" toolbar) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
