[edit]Your recent editing history at The Book of Daniel (album) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - @Ktrimi991: Beginning with an edit on 25 July 2018 from IP address 75.102.250.54 with the inflammatory "preordered an album that is unlikely to ever be released" (The Book of Daniel (album)) and escalating in disparaging statements in related pages, an edit war has occurred stemming from the reverting of the edits to the previous version. Judging from some of the comments in the "edit summary" section, 75.102.250.54 appears to believe he is speaking to, and edit warring with, the artist in the article. I am not "edit-warring" so much as I am reverting the page from disingenuous and non-constructive edits. 64.124.20.194 (talk) 20:15, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- Stating that the album is unlikely to be released is neither disingenuous nor inflammatory, it is accurate.
- Fixing sourced content, removing unsourced content, and adjusting the writing style is neither disingenuous nor inflammatory nor un-constructive. It is very constructive.
- I am not a man, so fix that.
- I don't believe I am interacting with Swain at the moment, but it is obvious I am interacting with one of his fans. 75.102.250.85 (talk) 20:31, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, you are edit warring. You should wait till other editors revert 75.102.250.54 and other IPs of the same range. Ktrimi991 (talk) 20:18, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Ktrimi991: Understood. 20:19, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
