Maybe true but not WP appropriate to say

I just reverted a couple of footballer edits of commentary on someone hired without an interview and on flaws in someone’s style of play. Maybe true, but WP is supposed to convey what cites say in DUE proportion - and for WP:BLP to be particularly restrained in speech.
