[edit]61.88.183.109 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Not sure why I'm blocked and there is no notification of the block on my talk page. The reason provided by John in the block log is 'block evasion', but I'm not certain which block I'm supposed to be evading? If John is under the impression I am another blocked user, I'd like to request an Administrator review the IP addresses history of said user, to confirm I am not he/she.
Decline reason:
First, you can't say you're not sure why you're blocked when, as you go on to admit, the stated reason is "block evasion". Second, if you're not certain which block you're supposed to be evading, that sort of implies to me that you are, indeed, a multiply blocked user and therefore this request is just continued game-playing (is it, Mack?). Third, you are in effect asking for a checkuser to "prove" your innocence—which we rarely do since it's next to impossible to prove (and usually the mere request is seen as a sign of a sockmaster who thought they covered their tracks more effectively than they did). Lastly, apart from the block-evasion allegation (made by more than one editor, BTW), you just come across as tendentious and prone to combativeness, which is not what we want in our editors. — Daniel Case (talk) 19:14, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
