Welcome!

Hello, 55tompty55, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as London Hughes, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! I42 (talk) 08:53, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article London Hughes has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Hacker T, Dog, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Hacker T Dog. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:16, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there

[edit]

Is there any need to keep Oucho under "CURRENT PRESENTERS" on the CBBC Page, as he hasn't presented since the start of 2010. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.108.226.36 (talk) 10:06, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Top Gear

[edit]

Hi, I have reverted your moves, as they were undiscussed and did not follow Wikipedia:Naming conventions (television), which says that for additional disambiguation, "Prefix the year of release or series debut". Thanks. Stephenb (Talk) 12:39, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Waterloo Road

[edit]

That edit you just made to Waterloo Road needs reverting back to "future episodes". Please refer to the coversation in user U-mos's discussion page for reasoning 2.100.144.137 (talk) 11:38, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please feel free to discuss this at Talk:Waterloo Road (TV series). I'm going to copy the discussion from my talk page onto there now. U-Mos (talk) 17:53, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Waterloo Road (TV series). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive; until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. U-Mos (talk) 23:51, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any need to add him as a presenter? He is a character who is only used on Tuesday Mornings.

What on Earth have you moved this page for? Such a move would require discussion first, but in any case it's obviously not the correct title. Obscurasky (talk) 17:14, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the move. Normally I would say discuss this first. But in this case it would be a waste of a discussion. PyF is never called Mt PyF. Agathoclea (talk) 17:36, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi - if you made the entry for Ten Tors 2011 could you get back to me please - the reference to the weekend weather is at odds with the notes (and photos) on the TT web site for that year. Also the stats for TT 2011 are the 'best' of all those that the TT website covers. All the best TenTorswebmaster (talk) 20:58, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dragons' Den (UK), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Peter Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
