Thanks for expanding that article! One technical note, {{cite journal}} does not usually get a url, especially if it has a doi (the doi automatically links to a dynamically updated database pointing to the article, whereas the url to the publisher's own website might become broken if the publisher changes their website). DYK for Polyacetylene
[edit]On 12 April 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Polyacetylene, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Hideki Shirakawa, Alan Heeger, and Alan MacDiarmid received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery and development of polyacetylene, an electronically conductive polymer? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Polyacetylene. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
