Even if you are not logged in:

if you give a change reason for each commit then other editors will understand what you are doing
if you document your intentions on Talk:Steve Parish then again other people will have a better chance of working with you co-operatively
whether or not the page you’re editing is about you, your edits have to appear to be positive etc., otherwise other editors might come along and revert them
