Landship and Landcraft articles

[edit]

Dear 42 Grunt, thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia! I see that you have taken an interest in topics related to landships and landcraft. I am concerned that these articles don't conform to Wikipedia practice, as you'll see in my comments at Talk:Landship#False premise for article and Talk:Landcraft. I welcome your replies to my concerns at those talk pages. Cheers, HopsonRoad (talk) 15:55, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Landcraft has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary disambiguation page. There is no indication that any of the topics listed are commonly referred to as "landcraft"; the term appears to see next to no use at all. A Google Books search gave mostly personal names.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Huon (talk) 00:37, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Landship, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Halo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:48, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Requests for close

[edit]

For a start, you made a mistake in your request, in addition it is in the wrong place, Thirdly, no one said you could do anything and fourthly the claim that is also "mispeaking", you said somethingn that was not true, not once but more than once. In other words, you have wholey misrepresented the situation, which is exactlly I it can and shoulds only be closed by an uninvovled party.

This is also why I want to wait untill the war is over, so clear heads can decide what happend.

Read wp:cir. Slatersteven (talk) 16:51, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • So you actually put all the extra effort to go to my talk page to regurgitate what was already said and done on the discussion page. I already told you about the miscommunication and I am willing to wait for those with authority to decide on the closure of the RFC as well as the input of third-parties. So exactly what is the point of this comment? Because this feels unnecessary. 42Grunt (talk) 03:30, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • To tell you what you did wrong, and to advise you to take more care. In a hot topic area innocent mistakes take on a whole new look. So I am advising you not to give that look. 10:24, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
  • I know. I don't need a reminder. I had been in past edit wars myself in other wikis, so I am well accustomed to dealing with heated topics. 42Grunt (talk) 13:56, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

March 2024 - adding false info

[edit]

Greetings! Please don't add false information not supported by sources as you did at Battle of Avdiivka (2023–2024): Difference between revisions - Wikipedia : "presumed to be incredibly heavy", "whose claims has been verified to be authentic" is not in source, and your "in the best case scenario" inclusion is "for Russia", which you omitted. Thanks! ManyAreasExpert (talk) 12:57, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
