Chemical similarity

[edit]

Hello 420SteekHetInDeHens and welcome to Wikipedia,

Please refer to http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/wol1/doi/10.1002/minf.201400024/full and http://infochim.u-strasbg.fr/CS3_2014/Slides/CS3_2014_Willett.pdf for chemical similarity properties.

DEET and mephedrone are more closely related to each other then Cathine is to DEET based on the tanimoto and tversky chemical structuring algorithm. Please use the ChemSpider Structure Search to test the similarity of two different drugs.

Please refrain from making edits future edits to Wikipedia unless you know the subject to its full entirety.

Thank you for your cooperation.

This is extremely misleading, sorry to say. The single carbon in DEET as opposed to the double carbon in phenETHylamines such as mephedrone completely changes the pharmacology of the substance.
