User talk:400Bluesteels
January 2017
[edit]Hello, and welcome to editing Wikipedia. I hope you have a successful time here, but I'm afraid I have to tell you that there have been some problems with your first step. The page User:400Bluesteels was not suitable for Wikipedia. The most important reason was that it was a copy of text that has been published elsewhere, such as at http://www.nairaland.com/ezelarry/posts and http://www.nairaland.com/3191000/bluesteels-boulevard-market-like-no, in violation of copyright. It is almost never acceptable to post content copied from other sources to Wikipedia, and never when it comes from a web site which bears a copyright message such as "Copyright © 2005 - 2017 Oluwaseun Osewa. All rights reserved". Another reason is that a Wikipedia user page is for someone who is active in working for the project to give a little information about himself or herself in connection with his or her work for the encyclopaedia: it is not a place to post content unrelated to work for Wikipedia. I also feel that the content was somewhat promotional in tone, and you should be aware that promotional editing of any sort is unacceptable anywhere on Wikipedia. For those reasons, the page has been deleted. I am sorry that your first step at editing Wikipedia has had such an unsuccessful end, and I hope from now on you have more success. To help you, here are some links to pages which may help you to learn how editing Wikipedia works.

Speedy deletion nomination of User:400Bluesteels
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:400Bluesteels, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]There have been two problems identified with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Widr (talk) 12:51, 20 February 2017 (UTC)400Bluesteels (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I really need to make my opinion on related topic
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:47, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Decline reason:
Firstly, that's the same username - changing it to something acceptable would require more than just inserting a space. Secondly, if you wish to "talk about 400Bluesteels", you have not understood why you are blocked.
An unblock appeal needs to explain what you did that got you blocked, and explain what you would do differently if unblocked. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:18, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:
I fully understand my actions that leaded to my block and I promise not to promote or advertise 400Bluesteels, I will only make useful contributions about 400Bluesteels to help improve Wikipedia, once again sorry for my actions
Decline reason:
You will not be unblocked until:
- you propose a new username that meets the username policy
- you confirm that this account is used by one individual only
- you agree to avoid creating or directly editing articles related to your organisation (requested edits will still be permitted)
- you agree to abide by the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use and disclose your paid relationship in accordance with the paid contributor policy
- you indicate what areas of Wikipedia you intend to edit in the future
If you have no interest in editing Wikipedia beyond writing about your organisation, then you will not be unblocked. If this is the case, I recommend you consider alternative outlets. Yunshui 雲水 11:38, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

- I've moved your unblock to the end of the page, here - if you place them randomly in the middle of the page, it makes it harder for the reviewing admin to find. Oh, and I won't review this one as I reviewed the previous one, but you have no chance of being unblocked if you continue to fail to request an acceptable username.
