Talk:List of God of War characters

[edit]

Hi, I saw your post here and wanted to give you an answer.

"Athena initially tasks Kratos to find Helios as in the absence of light, the god Morpheus has caused the remaining gods to fall into a deep slumber."

This sentence is referring to the game God of War: Chains of Olympus where in that game, Persephone and Atlas have kidnapped Helios, and the Dream God Morpheus essentially jumped on this opportunity to rule over the land. Helios is gone ("as in the absence of light") and Morpheus has used his powers to cause "the remaining gods to fall into a deep slumber" (sleep; except Athena for unexplained reasons, or maybe it did and I've forgotten). Athena tasks Kratos to find Helios so he can restore the light and cause Morpheus to retreat. Hope that explains it. --JDC808 05:44, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why you removed your request for help - people don't respond that quickly, especially not during weekends in August. It can take days for people to reply! Secretlondon (talk) 19:02, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mars 2 / Mars 3 articles aren't copies

[edit]

Just FYI -- the Mars 2 and Mars 3 articles are most definitely not copies. Another user said it best -- "The Russian article has the exact same Wikipedia internal links, as well as (wikisource) and is almost certainly a mirror." Unfortunately, there are a lot of poor copies of Wikipedia articles floating around on the web. The edit histories of the Wikipedia articles prove that they were constructed over time, instead of being copy-pasted from another source. Wingman4l7 (talk) 10:27, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No worries! Glad this is all cleared up now. Cheers! Wingman4l7 (talk) 22:50, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Bodie Island Light may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
