[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Todd McShay. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 03:27, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Alcatraz (TV series), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Yinling, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 13:56, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- At Peter Sanderson you re-added, after another editor removed, clearly promotional material that violates WP:INDISCRIMINATE, among other Wikipedia guidelines. We do not list every single column that every single columnist has ever written. All we need do is mention the column in text and give a link in External links, which we do.
- Please do not re-add contentious content without discussing it at the article's talk page. --Tenebrae (talk) 00:00, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- You refuse to discuss your self-promotional edits on the article talk page, and you continue to add them in disregard of, and disrespect to, WP:NOTADVERTISING. As this now constitutes a pattern, the next time you add this promotional, WP:INDISCRIMINATE laundry list of columns — which we don't even do for famous columnists — I will ask an admin to block your IP for these vios and for disruptive edits. Your refusal to discuss the issue on the article talk page really leaves no choice. --Tenebrae (talk) 15:27, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. Your edits have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in you being blocked from editing.
This is your third warning about contentious edits, and your second about adding promotional material that violates WP:INDISCRIMINATE and WP:NOTADVERTISING among other Wikipedia guidelines. At least two different editors have reverted these. After a third warning, if disruptive editing continues, an admin will be asked to block or ban this IP address from editing. --Tenebrae (talk) 23:30, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page X-Play has been reverted.
Your edit here to X-Play was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqeiN4pqTjo&list=SPWnpHOQXsPDujN8SR1vpcsgInhRGPMG_o&index=1) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:49, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page X-Play, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.

Port Washington
[edit]Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Your wholesale import of copyrighted text from the New York Times into the Wikipedia page Port Washington, New York is a bad idea. Please don't do it. See: Wikipedia:Copyright violations if this is not clear. Paul (User:Lpgeffen) (talk) 14:41, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Recent edit to Uncle Jesse
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Uncle Jesse without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!
