Accidental Reversion

[edit]

Hello, apologies for the revert on your revert! I'm not sure exactly how that happened, but seems I slipped up in Huggle. Thank you for your contributions and apologies for any trouble. Lucas7yoshi (talk) 05:19, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's ok. I'll try to remain calm whenever accidental huggle happens. 35.141.142.199 (talk) 05:20, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please revert your edits at User talk:DementiaGaming. Let the stuff from February go. If that sort of thing happens again, we'll handle it. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 18:15, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, done. Btw, I know it's not an excuse, but I am autistic and sometimes I have issues letting past issues go. I kept trying to move on with my life (I even took a break from Wikipedia until March 11th as you can tell by my contributions) but it still kept bugging the heck out of me. I feel like I'm the one who should seek therapy after all. 35.141.142.199 (talk) 18:18, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I get it! Happy to see you took the advice. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 18:24, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just asked ChatGPT about how can I make myself feel better. Here's what it told me: "If you're finding that a past situation is still significantly impacting your life and causing distress, seeking support from a therapist could be a beneficial step. Here are a few reasons why therapy might be helpful in this situation: 1. Processing Emotions: A therapist can provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore and process your emotions related to the past situation. Talking through your feelings with a trained professional can help you gain insight and perspective, as well as develop healthier coping mechanisms.2. Identifying Patterns: Sometimes, past situations can trigger patterns of thinking or behavior that affect our present lives. A therapist can help you identify these patterns and work towards changing them, empowering you to respond differently to similar situations in the future. 3. Building Resilience: Therapy can help you build resilience and develop strategies for managing difficult emotions and situations. By learning effective coping skills and self-care techniques, you can strengthen your ability to navigate challenges and move forward with greater confidence. 4. Gaining Clarity: Talking with a therapist can help you gain clarity and perspective on the past situation, allowing you to see it from different angles and understand its impact on your life more fully. This increased understanding can be empowering and facilitate the process of letting go. 5. Moving Forward: Ultimately, therapy can support you in letting go of the past and moving forward with your life. While it's normal to experience lingering effects from past experiences, therapy can help you release the grip of those memories and focus on creating a brighter future for yourself. If you're considering therapy, take some time to research therapists in your area who specialize in the issues you're facing. You can also reach out to your primary care physician or trusted individuals in your support network for recommendations. Remember that seeking help is a sign of strength, and there's no shame in reaching out for support when you need it." 35.141.142.199 (talk) 18:26, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop interacting with ItsCheck

[edit]

Hi IP35. I understand you have a hard time letting go of your prior dispute with ItsCheck. I'm sorry to say it, but if you continue to act as you have been—for example, by following IC to a talk page in order to personally attack him—it's very likely that you'll be blocked or banned. Since we're a volunteer-led project that involves all kinds of people, disputes are common. It's important that participants be able to move on afterward. If more discussion with me would be helpful to you, I'd be happy to talk. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 02:58, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You know what? I think it might actually be time for me to stop. I actually got second thought and kind of feel bad now. Imagine you had a dispute with someone and it was resolved a long time ago, and now that someone is back to "get revenge" out of the blue, when you already moved on. You wouldn't like that would you? Yeah, I really should seek therapy, because I couldn't just drop that incident and I let intrusive thoughts win. 35.141.142.199 (talk) 03:32, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can't say whether or not you should seek therapy, but it's been helpful in my own experience. Hope things get better for you either way. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 03:37, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 16:37, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again IP35. I'm sorry that it's come to this. You are permitted to register an account and start using that exclusively, but you can't be misleading about being a new persona joining a prior dispute (see WP:SOCK for details). If you'd like to use the Proposer of Solutions account moving forward, let me know, and I'll unblock it once the 48 hours have passed. I'll unblock you sooner if you agree to an indefinite one-way interaction ban with ItsCheck, which would mean not interacting with them any further. You mentioned on my talk page that a block might help you move past this. If you think a longer block would be helpful to you, I'm happy to extend this one and note in the block summary that it was at your request. Please ask questions if you have any. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 16:44, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Honestly, I thank you for the block, because it will finally help me move on with my life and not be so fixated on the February incident. 35.141.142.199 (talk) 17:49, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request

[edit]

Hello. I know I'm blocked, but I found a mistake on the article Criticism of Spotify. On it, it says Spotify was launched in 2006, but that was when it was FOUNDED, not launched. Also, the citation is from 2008, too. If FFF or anyone else is available to fix this mistake, by all means please do so. Thanks 35.141.142.199 (talk) 15:16, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I changed the year 2006 to 2008. ItsCheck (talk) 04:29, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not again

[edit]

Someone put Roblox which IS NOT NOTABLE (I've said it a million times before) on yet another events list. To add fuel to the fire, they have been blocked permanently for vandalism. Could someone please remove it? Thank you.

Also IC if you still happen to watch this talk page, do you remember this article? Do you remember the part where it says that video game releases are not notable, even if they have Wikipedia articles?

Additionally, Roblox is NOT suppposed to be on 2006 in games because it literally says "For video games, see 2006 in video gaming." 35.141.142.199 (talk) 20:43, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have went ahead and removed Roblox form the article. ItsCheck (talk) 18:35, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request

Request reason:

I'm finally starting to move on from having constant thoughts about what happened in February. IC and I appear to finally be getting together, and we no longer have any beef like we did then.
Hey Firefangledfeathers, if you still don't believe in me, maybe you could please partially block me from talk and user talk and Wikipedia namespaces? There are numerous errors to fix in article namespace, and until half a year ago, most my edits were fixes, and I only edited once in a long while. If you feel like keeping this block intact would be ok, that's fine as well, I can wait out the remaining 3 weeks, and continue my plan of fixing errors via edit requests on my talk page. 35.141.142.199 (talk) 21:30, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Unblock requests are to ask for a third party to review the block. If you wish to negotiate with the blocking admin, you don't need to make an unblock request. You also don't seem particularly eager to be unblocked. 331dot (talk) 08:20, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

IP35, I'm happy to consider an unblock. I would not consider a pblock from Talk and User talk: we need to be able to communicate with each other and appropriate communication is a requirement for participation here. Do you have an understanding of what you did wrong and anything to say about what you'll do differently moving forward? Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 12:36, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes sir ! Creating WP:SPA accounts are not allowed, particularly when used to make disputes worse. Impersonation of other users is especially not allowed, even if I have mental issues trying to get over situations. Honestly, I regret dragging past dramas from the grave and making them worse. Now I realize that even constructive edits made by sockpuppeteers can be reverted. That impersonating account I made mid-June, even if I thought at the time it was to make sure February wouldn't happen again, was peak unacceptable and I should've just talked it out with IC directly. In the future, I'll try to assume good faith when people revert my edits, even if my edits were constructive, because we all make mistakes. February situation doesn't bother me at all anymore , largely because i moved on while my block was intact. It's not until a few weeks ago that I've been finding unconstructive edits and non-notable events on year articles per Wikipedia:WikiProject Years/criteria again. I just want to be able to make constructive edits myself immediately, without having to wait for someone like IC (who I'm finally starting to get together with again) to do them for me. As you saw, 2 days wasn't enough for me to move on, but 3 months was. There is absolutely no excuse for what I've done. This is Wikipedia, eventually people who admit to their wrongdoings and promise not to do sockpuppetry again can be forgiven. 35.141.142.199 (talk) 13:30, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
